HLB Lighting Design is over 60% owned and managed by women. HLB continually supports all team members, including women and minorities, to grow professionally into senior positions, as shareholders and managers on our team. Proudly our WBE/DBE status offers opportunity for HLB Lighting Design to participate in the GSA Design Excellence Program initiative for the quality in the federal built environment. This is a rigorous program with policies and procedures for selecting the finest and most appropriate architects and integrated design teams for GSA commissions. Our strong commitment to lighting design excellence and our extensive capabilities has brought us together with notable architects with significant projects created under this program.

We endeavor to obtain our WBE and/DBE status with several agencies and states around the country. Many of the certifications we maintain have reciprocal programs with other agencies resulting in opportunities in many areas outside of our primary office locations in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Boston.
