National Audio Visual Conservation Center

This former Federal Reserve Vault is now home to the world's largest collection of moving images and sound recordings. HLB collaborated in the design of custom fixtures for the open office pendants and chandeliers and wall sconces for the Theater. The design team produced a state-of-the-art building-wide architectural lighting control system for the AV and electronic conservation labs as well as the meeting and theater spaces. Daylight analysis for the terraced offices and lobby were performed to inform the massing of the building and to maximize natural light in the space.
