The Orchard Garden is San Francisco’s first truly “green” boutique hotel. HLB Lighting Design worked closely with Architecture International to create a unique and sophisticated lighting scheme throughout the hotel that met the strict environmental and sustainability parameters set forth. Located in the heart of the city’s center, the 86-room hotel has carried its commitment to operating “green” beyond the building’s unique architecture and sophisticated lighting design with its use of chemical-free cleaning products, a 100% tobacco-free environment, recycled papers and soy-based inks and the debut of a unique guestroom key card energy control system.
