Playa Vista Central Park

Inspired by formal European gardens and created as an alternative to traditional corporate plazas, the Playa Vista Central Park is designed to support entertainment, exercise as well as respite, and is also open to be enjoyed by the public.  This 8-acre park that features lush gardens and tree groves, water features, a soccer field, sand volleyball court, basketball court, children’s play area, and a striking band shell and grass amphitheater.  With goals to support the bold landscape and architectural features via intimate, ambient, and dramatic illumination, a unique luminaire palette was employed.
