Compliance with the City of San Jose’s stringent outdoor lighting requirements led HLB to develop a semi-custom outdoor fixtures that incorporate state of the art cut-off reflector systems. These fixtures eliminate light trespass and unwanted light pollution in response to the concerns from the nearby Lick Observatory. As a result of the efficient use of light, color corrected high-pressure sodium source is utilized in lieu of the City standard low-pressure sodium. This provides an optimal color rendering so critical for the success of a retail environment.
