SMPS New York’s Annual Marketing Communications Awards Gala recognizes outstanding achievements of top marketing professionals for their contributions to their firm’s success and the advancement of the profession. These awards were granted to AEC firms whose materials and campaigns most compellingly achieved their firms’ marketing goals and vision.
This past year, the HLB marketing team rolled out two very exciting campaigns for Social Media and the annual Holiday Video. Senior Associate, Jonas Ryan Foster, attributes the team’s success with the ability to “humanize” our marketing materials. “From day one it was our goal to create an HLB experience, not just a brand.”
We were not afraid to take a risk and be honest, succinct, and authentic in our social media and holiday video campaigns. “Some people may love it, others may hate it. That’s what makes it unique. We were not afraid to be open to our audience as the campaigns are lighthearted and fun, and our critics responded well!” – Says Jonas. As a specialty sub-consultant, it’s a great accomplishment to compete with the larger AEC firms that have huge marketing budgets and marketing departments. It’s the marketing team we are most proud of, as they accomplished both campaigns in-house, from concept to execution, within very tight budgets.
