Project Description

Abundant LEDs and eye-catching chandeliers, illuminate this refined restaurant with a ‘wild side’ — Just steps away from the White House...

Joe’s Seafood, the legendary Miami destination for serious surf and turf makes a splash in the heart of Washington, D.C. Located in a former banking hall, the restaurant holds intimate gatherings for as many as 150 guests, no matter if you’re heading back to the dining room or upstairs for a private party, the refined and playful bar entices you to stop by and take it all in.

Aiming angles were carefully studied to ensure the recessed narrow spot adjustable accent lights focused on the center of every table, where a colossal pile of stone crab legs would be served. Since the client planned on having multiple table configurations, the challenge was to design a precise, yet flexible lighting and controls system for optimal performance and lighting moods for a wide variety of dining experiences.
