HLB collaborated on a fun and creative new office for Wolverine Worldwide. Why so fun? The design team used shoelaces to emanate a glow that can be seen from afar. Single rows of linear wall grazers on bring out the texture and appearance of the shoelaces, while providing efficient amount of light on the stair treads – allowing wood slat ceilings to stay ‘clean’ as a result.

HLB’s scope included entries, reception, open and private offices, conference and board rooms, showrooms, photo studios, fit test rooms, concept and consumer labs, data center, breakout, and lounge areas. With a clean and minimal lighting appearance, occupants get the best possible lighting and daylighting environment.
