VERIZON INNOVATION CENTER WINS IES ILLUMINATION AWARD OF EXCELLENCE

We’re thrilled to announce that the Verizon Innovation Center in San Francisco, a project designed by our Boston office, has won the prestigious 2014 IES Illumination Award of Excellence (Edward F. Guth Award for Interior Lighting Design). The Illumination Engineering Society awards this to projects recognized as “exceptional interior lighting projects that balance the functional illumination of space with the artistic application of light to enhance the occupant’s experience.” Only 13 projects out of 500 entries were selected to receive the annual Award of Excellence honor.

The project and the HLB team, including Senior Principal, Carrie Hawley, and Associate, Robyn Goldstein, were recognized during the 2014 IES Annual Conference at the 41st Illumination Awards Program. Click the video below that highlights HLB’s award winning lighting integration.
