10 World Trade

Boston, Massachusetts
United States

10 World Trade pairs sculptural architecture with a welcoming public realm, bringing together life science, workplace, and community uses. In the Great Hall, sweeping wood surfaces, expansive glass, and an elliptical core curve in nearly every direction, calling for light that reveals rather than competes with the architecture.

HLB concealed luminaires within these complex geometries, using precisely positioned in-grade uplights to trace the warmth of individually proportioned wood portals. Beyond the building, integrated bollards and poles guide movement through the landscape with visual ease, while controlled uplight, glare, and spill light support the project’s LEED Gold, SITES Gold, and WELL Gold credentials.
