Asurion Gulch Hub

Nashville, Tennessee
United States

As a technology insurance provider, Asurion desired their new headquarters to reflect the company creed of "enhancing your life through technology every day." HLB developed lighting schemes and controls that are high-performance for the tasks, unique to the corporate office environment, and 39% more efficient than the energy code baseline.

The open office lighting employs a unique task-ambient solution that utilizes a combination of sculptural linear pendants for indirect lighting while crossbars illuminate each desk. Eighteen lounges across the campus are themed after Asurion's global office locations. HLB selected themed decorative fixtures to represent each country using 42 different decorative fixtures and about six miles of linear lights throughout the project. Rigorous value engineering reduced the overall lighting cost by $2 million. As a result, the lighting solutions enliven this fun, dynamic, and innovative corporate headquarters that precisely reflects the company's character.
