Biloxi Bay Bridge

Biloxi, Mississippi
United States

The original Biloxi Bay Bridge was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina in 2005. When it reopened in 2007, the nighttime image signified a reconnection between Biloxi and Ocean Springs and filled the surrounding communities with a renewed sense of hope and pride.

The lights unite the two communities and provide subtle beauty to the nighttime waters. HLB’s lighting solution helped create an exciting nighttime presence for the area that illustrated the resiliency of this community. Residents proclaimed the bridge “a beautiful sight,” which now stands as a landmark after the hurricane.
