Carnegie Mellon University, Tepper School of Business

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
United States

The Tepper School of Business represents a modern departure from the campus’s predominantly historic architecture, which challenged HLB to devise a lighting scheme that supports the new aesthetic and maintains a common thread with the rest of the campus. Stylish, integrated fixtures illuminate public spaces, while decorative lamps are leveraged in more intimate spaces to create a distinctive ambiance. A connection with the traditional campus is preserved through the use of modified pedestrian light poles for site lighting, which are now the new standard for the Tepper Quad area.
