While the budget was reasonable, the pace was intense. The schedule necessitated swift decision making and careful selection of lighting equipment that was readily available. Design and construction were completed within a year of commencement, including two rounds of value engineering and a “hospitality” design squeezed into an “office” energy code.
Warm architectural materials were highlighted and greenery was dramatically accented. Attention to detail was the key to success as many light sources are tucked into architectural details to allow the unique furnishings and rich materials to take center stage.
