Nationwide Children’s Hospital
As part of Nationwide Children’s Hospital's campus expansion, the new main hospital will be surrounded by six additional acres of green space comprised of parks and healing gardens for patients, their families, hospital staff, and the community. HLB’s design goals included connecting the indoor and outdoor experiences, ensuring that the environment feels safe and secure, and enhancing the various experiences of the park and gardens. The team also provided a series of interactive lighting shows to further improve the experience. The illumination for the new green space expresses seasonal change and provides a sense of nighttime identity.
