This preparatory school’s library and academic center offer a warm, inviting space for students to gather, collaborate, and learn. The design team was challenged to meet the visual needs of a library within the context of a sleek, minimal architectural scheme.
A multi-layered approach was required to highlight the rich materials of the interior, while simultaneously supporting illuminance requirements within the guidelines of the client’s ambitious energy goals. Lighting elements are carefully integrated into architectural features throughout to create a seamless visual experience for patrons.
