North Carolina A&T State University Academic Classroom Building

At the center of the North Carolina A&T campus is an academic classroom building that symbolizes their embrace of 21st century teaching methodologies and sustainable leadership to further these goals. Lighting equipment is concealed or revealed following the strong architectural geometry of the three-story atrium space.

The building houses classrooms with distance learning with full state-of-the-art lighting and AV optimized for the learning environment. Multiple layers of light are independently dimmable, allowing the presenter to tune the environment to the wide variety of curriculum offerings in the building. The majority of lighting equipment used on the project is extended life energy efficient linear fluorescent lamping and has been located within easy reach to reduce maintenance.
