In this revitalization project, the historic Bicentennial Park was re-imagined to accommodate outdoor event space and an interactive community fountain. The Scioto Mile Fountain features five elevated stainless steel halo structures that release cold mist that falls in a circular pattern, igniting an energetic fog of colored light all around.
The lighting design integrates colored lights into water to render a spectacular experience without appearing as too flashy or unapproachable to visitors. The Scioto Mile Fountain is both an architectural marvel and interactive area for aquatic play along the 145 acres of lush parkland.
