Positioned across from Union Station’s train platform and adjacent to the Kimpton Hotel Born, Tavernetta represents a change of pace for travelers, commuters, and Denver natives alike. Authentic Italian fare is served in a relaxed and inviting atmosphere that is reminiscent of the Italian way, albeit with a rustic regional twist.
HLB worked with Semple Brown, BOKA Powell, and the restaurant team to provide full lighting services, including a networked dimming control system with stations positioned in convenient back-of-house and reception locations. Warm color temperatures and appropriate fixture finishes were carefully selected to enhance the interior material palette, and foster an atmosphere similar to that of a mountain chalet.
