Minimal, strategic site lighting is employed to meet pathway safety requirements without overwhelming the landscape. Historic structures are illuminated sparingly but deliberately, their presence highlighted respectfully within the overall context of the project. Illumination of the new academic facility practices a similar refrain, accentuating the building’s transparency without causing glare or light trespass in the surrounding environment. Interior lighting is resort-like and understated, and offers the necessary flexibility to support the school’s innovative teaching methods and world-class programs.
