Layers of light, much like stratification of silt in an arroyo wash, rest lightly upon the site and are peeled away as one ascends to the hilltops. Safety and environmental sensitivity were important touchstones for the design team and shielded, highly efficient LED and HID luminaires are used throughout.
Lighting was designed with sensitivity to the surrounding neighborhood, while preserving views of the ocean. Lighting provides a safe and comfortable environment for occupants while meeting local and California energy codes.
