The design team conducted a site visit to survey existing lighting conditions and determine benchmarks that would inform the final lighting solution. The results included a reduced quantity of on-center fixtures, spaced to provide adequate light levels while trimming the cost of open office fixtures by one-third. The lighting design also created an overall reduction in the connected lighting load to achieve an energy savings 40% below California Title 24 energy code.
