ARTIC – Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center

Light ignites a new era of mass transit — transforming how commuters travel in Southern California.

This $184 million regional transportation hub for Orange County is located on an approximately 15.7 acre site where commuters can transfer between different modes of transportation including rail, automobile, bus, bicycle, and future high speed rail. The center is also a destination in itself as a mixed-use development which encompasses retail, office, and civic space — all within a stone’s throw to Angel Stadium and Honda Center. Color changing LED fixtures bring to life the unique ETFE building structure.

In collaboration with HOK and Parsons Brinckerhoff, HLB’s work included the terminal building, civic and retail spaces, public platforms and amenities, pedestrian circulation, parking, façade, plazas, landscaping, streetscape, vehicular drop-off areas and building entries.
