UCLA – PAULEY PAVILION

Illumination amplifies the legendary Bruin blue.

Pauley Pavilion has epitomized a balance of both past and present. Harboring the tradition and history of the past, this iconic arena has amplified into a modern day beautiful stage where legendary personalities and record breaking wins may continue to flourish. Its truss-style architecture has enhanced the arena’s reputation, making Pauley Pavilion one of the most recognized arenas in the world.

Renovating and expanding Pauley Pavilion was a really special project. The lighting intention was to preserve the achievements of Pauley’s past, while also ensuring its rejuvenating lift and amenities attract a new generation of student athletes and sports fans.

Lighting updates to the building’s infrastructure included an exterior glass concourse with natural light and room for concessions, restrooms and merchandise. The design pays tribute to the legacy of former UCLA Men’s Basketball Coach John Wooden.
