Verizon Digital Media at The Hub on Causeway

Boston, Massachusetts
United States

A pioneer in communication technology, Verizon sought to engage the community at large in a setting that was as big, bold, and iconic as their brand. Four key areas of the building tell a holistic story that invites people to engage with Verizon’s innovative technology included the exterior, entrance, main lobby, and 8th floor Sky Lobby.

The experience begins at the entry canopy featuring digitally backlit acrylic rods that create an engaging ambiance. Motion sensors capture pedestrian movement by activating nodes that continue into the lobby. The back wall serves as an expansive media canvas showcasing Verizon’s latest research and innovation through bold projection mapping. The Sky Lobby provides a bright yet relaxing transitional work environment that extends to the adjacent outdoor terrace with subtle lighting layers for workplace or event use. At the top floor, digitally backlit acrylic rods with color-changing uplights transform the roof into a canvas visible from miles around, reflecting the Charles River tides on typical days and thematic shows on sports and concert days, enhancing the Hub’s events below.
