The owners directed the designer to illuminate their art collection, complement the architecture, and create something spectacular for the wine display room. Sometimes quietly, sometimes boldly, light emerges from meticulous details of hidden sources throughout.

The owners and their guests traverse the interior/exterior, upstairs/downstairs boundaries without leaving the contiguous space; lighting was designed with these organic connections in mind. The stairway and sculpture lighting both use layered lighting to add composition and drama to the spaces.

In spaces such as this, lighting controls are a necessary management tool. Intuitive multi-level scenes are controlled through simple, elegant interfaces. Automated functions, pathways, scenes, DMX color functions and individual load control are accessed through system keypads and mobile applications.
