Echo Brickell is a boutique residential tower located in the heart of downtown Miami comprised of 180 units and featuring a slew of lavish amenity spaces. HLB’s scope included the lobby, porte-cochere, pool deck, fitness club and surrounding site.

The building’s drop off area makes for a stunning first impression, with oversized custom luminaires and tastefully integrated lighting that accentuates the architecture and contributes to its upscale feel. A key design challenge for the pool deck, located on the 42nd floor of the 57-story high-rise, was to curate an intimate ambiance for residents and create a distinct façade feature that is visible from the ground. This is achieved through indirect lighting reflected off the wood paneling, which serves as the primary source of light and generates an internal glow that can be seen from miles away.
