Gonzaga University Myrtle Woldson Performing Arts Center

Spokane, Washington
United States

The Myrtle Woldson Performing Arts Center is a multi-use theater and recital hall supporting an integrated approach to the arts for students and hosting a variety of musical and theatrical productions from all over the country.

Lighting of the theater space is carefully integrated within an intricate canopy of geometric mesh and acoustic paneling. Decorative pendants descend between the panels and ambient color-changing luminaires uplight the ceiling above. Flexible mounting, aiming, and controls enable fine-tuning of the lighting on site, catering to the venue’s diverse programmatic needs.
