Harmon Guest House

Healdsburg, California
United States

The Harmon Guest House is a boutique eco-friendly hotel nestled in the coastal foothills of California’s wine country. Each of the 39 rooms has large windows that let natural light flood the space, while geometric wood slats keep the rooms private and cozy. The lighting team focused on blending sophisticated visual accents into a minimalist design.

The design team utilized a simple yet elegant fixture palette throughout the hotel to keep maintenance and lifecycle costs low. Upon arrival, guests are welcomed at a rustic wine bar in the lobby that is back lit with linear ingrades that highlight the shape and form of rough concrete walls. Pendant downlights are hidden between redwood slats in the ceiling to add a sparkle throughout.
