The inspiration for the lighting design of the new LinkedIn cafeteria and meeting floor stems from the company’s core mission to connect people for a more productive and successful workplace. As a result, the lighting design deliberatively focused on its ability to connect users through a variety of workspaces within the office environment.
Transitioning to the social and communal food areas, the lighting is playful and varied at each food venue. The design encourages rest and relief for staff, contrasting the design of the open office environment. All fixtures are LED and controlled by the corporate stand control system to provide efficient energy management.
