Designed to bring the spirit of academia and entrepreneurship together, SUNY ETEC joins academic research with the commercial world to spark innovation and cross cultural development. Supporting this mission is an array of unique space types, including classrooms, research labs, specialty instrumentation facilities, and weather research and monitoring facilities.
The lighting design responds to the technical requirements of the facility and its sophisticated equipment, providing a luminous environment that supports the unique needs of individual space types. It was also important the integration of the technical properties of a contemporary digital lighting system worked in harmony with the variety of building research systems.
