UCLA Gayley Heights Apartments

Los Angeles, California
United States

As a gateway to the UCLA campus, the 17-story, 1,167-bed student housing building creates an essential gathering place and home for students. A variety of indoor and outdoor amenity spaces activate the building and connect students and visitors to the surrounding neighborhood.

Serving as the heart of the building, the student commons is washed with natural light to provide a comfortable and animated atmosphere. The majority of the lighting is seamlessly integrated within the architecture, while thoughtfully placed decorative luminaires are made visible to create a sense of warmth. Outside, lighting draws students to the private garden, providing a space to relax and socialize both day and night.
